This is the worst computer that I've ever owned

I've been using desktop and laptop computers since 1985. This is the worst computer that I've ever owned. It is excruciatingly slow. Whether I attempt to use an app, or try to access information on the internet, this piece of junk refuses to move at an acceptable rate. For example, on my HP desktop, it takes less than five seconds to open Excel or Word. This Lenovo takes between one to two minutes to open those apps. When I tried to contact Lenovo customer support to ask them for help, I discovered that they don't provide either a telephone number or email address for contacting them. Instead, they lazily force you to use their “support” website. I did this, and ran all of the diagnostics, scan and updates that were available. It was a great waste of time, because the Lenovo remains as slow as ever. I will never, ever purchase

John Cherry directs Jim Varney in the comedy Ernest Saves Christmas, which comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, making it quite difficult to recommend this Disney/Buena Vista release to anyone who is not an Ernest fan. There is little here for the average DVD consumer.

If you're here reading reviews, you've more than likely seen this movie, but it was years ago, right? I mean, it's Ernest. Of course, this gets 5 stars. This is probably my favorite Ernest movie, and is our Christmas staple. You can have Ralphie and Cousin Eddie. Give me Ernest, and I will feel the magic of Christmas, no problem.

I love this movie! Say what you want about the editing errors (and yes, there were several) it was still a great story, with great actors, and great special effects. I had this on VHS and now have the digital version. I don't care how many years it has been, this is still a great way to spend an evening. Bottom line - I enjoyed this movie perhaps more than my many Marvel Avenger movies. But then, the location is rural America--no high tech, no super powers, no aliens--just a group of weather warriors going up against one of the most unpredictable and terrifying villains in our world--tornadoes.

What can I say about this film that hasn't already been stated by other reviewers? This movie is a must see for anyone with the slightest interest in an 'anti-hero' superhero. The movie is dark and haunting, but very well paced and directed. I think it's impossible to watch it without wondering what Brandon Lee could have brought us if not for the tragic accident. He makes his character come alive and believable, which given the story-line and another actor, could easily have become satire.
