Speaker quality not as good as expected

Bought for my father. Thought he could use the Bluetooth tech for taking phone calls since he has troubles hearing but volume level is worse than his external speaker on his phone. Also, light features seem pretty lame and/or dull. Pretty disappointed. Glad I got it on sale and didn’t pay full price.
