I traded up to the Pixel Watch from a Fitbit Versa 2. I expected a great user experience and that's what I'm getting — except for needing to charge it every day. I've decreased the power usage in all the recommended ways, but still, if I don't charge it once a day it won't make it through the next. That shouldn't be.

This is the second add-on point I've purchased to go with the Nest WiFi system, which came with two points. Our wifi has to serve both our house and the guest house in the backyard. The guest house was getting a weak signal until I added the fourth, which increased the signal strength substantially. The mesh wifi system is dependable and rarely has a problem.

Seniors seem to be more careful with their tech -- maybe because they're a bit afraid of it -- so maybe you don't need this. I wanted a docking station for my personal Chromebook similar to my work-provided Mac+Thunderbolt 3 dock. The HyperDrive hub isn't quite that elaborate, but that's OK. It does what I need it to: connects my Chromebook to two external monitors and allows for charging. The USB 2.0 ports are waste of space so far. Who knows? I might use them at some point. But this hub was a good value whether I do or not.
