Much better than the old unit it replaced

The controls are intuitive and logical. The surfaces are easy to clean. I did the installation myself and it was easy. We bought this to replace a much older unit, and so far it does everything we ask it to. The price was good based on shopping around. I can't give it five stars as we haven't used it enough yet.

Superior to ink jet, even with no color

My father was finally tired enough of the ridiculous cost of ink cartridges to consider a laser printer. (We bought this one for the price of eight black cartridges.) He's very impressed with the quality of the prints, as you would expect, and the user experience for everything he needs it to do is simple enough that he doesn't feel intimidated. I have a slightly fancier Brother laser printer of my own, and I love it.

These were a gift to my wife to use by the pool. Setup was easy with no glitches so far. The sound is very good. There's no problem keeping them charged in Phoenix, though I wonder how they're going to hold up to the brutal sun over time. The only thing I wish was different is the color. Our pool surround and gravel are tannish, and much lighter than these volcanic-looking pieces. Another color to choose from would be nice.

Perfect choice for what I needed

I'm a musician who plays in a theater pit orchestra. I needed something to move the air around near me but that was quiet enough not to be picked up on my mic. This was a perfect choice. It doesn't have a huge output, but I didn't need that. And it's very quiet -- so quiet I sometimes forget to turn it off after the show. Great value for the price.

If you have a Jitterbug Smart2, it's likely in the hands of a senior. (And it's an excellent choice for that; highly recommended.) Seniors seem to be more careful with their tech -- maybe because they're a bit afraid of it -- so maybe you don't need this. But if you decide you do, it has an excellent fit, it's easy to install and it may give your senior a little more confidence handling their phone.

Does it come with a US electric socket thing? I've read reviews saying that it came with a different plug, so does it come with a standard one for the US?

I've used laser printers for a long time and I've never had a toner cartridge dry out. The toner is a powder so it's dry anyway. I haven't had an ink jet printer in years, but family members have, and you're right, the cartridges dry out or the nozzles get gummed up with age. And they're ridiculously expensive. Laser is the way to go.
