Great DVD Player Great Price

I bought the Sony DVP-SR510H as a replacement for the DVP-SR500H that died after 9 years. It works the same as the older model, except it no longer has a front panel display. The only way to tell if it's on or off is by the little green light on the power button.

The LG UBK80 4K Blu-Ray DVD Player is a great machine that plays discs only, and plays them well. There are no streaming features. That is the reason I bought this model, I don't like paying for things I'm not going to use, and it was on sale for half price. The only downside is the remote, this is one case where smaller is not better.

The Onkyo TX-NR686 A/V Receiver is excellent. It does everything you need it to do.
It has 2 composite video inputs, 2 component video inputs, and SIX HDMI inputs, I can't imagine anyone needing more than that. It also upconverts everything to HDMI.
The remote is very well designed and is a great size for one with larger hands. It also has many surround and effects modes and is very easy to set up. Oh yeah and it sounds great too.

This monitor has very good resolution compared to the one it replaced.
The only issue with it is that when you put your computer to sleep or shut down,a message comes on the screen that says "Input not found check cable". After several seconds it then says "Monitor going to sleep. Why it even flashes any messages at all is beyond me. Everyone knows the monitor will go to sleep when the computer sleeps.
