Don’t Buy an LG Washer!

We purchased this washer in March 2023, so it is just over 2 years old. For the first 1 1/2 years, I was very happy with the washer because it was easy to use, had a lot of cycle choices, the finish was good, and laundry came out clean. However, beginning in fall 2024, things went downhill. First, the control panel had to be replaced because the Start button wasn’t working properly. This was repaired under the extended warranty. Second, the machine started leaving black and brown smudges on the washed laundry. LG blamed me for using too much detergent and fabric softener, but I haven’t changed the amount of product I use in years and I never had this problem with two previous HE washers. I have run the Clean Tub cycle about 13 times over the last 6 weeks, but the problem still happens constantly. Geek Squad has replaced the impeller plate and there was no evidence of detergent sludge that LG blames for these smudges. The tech found grease around the drive shaft under the impeller plate, cleaned it up, and put the machine back together. This fixed the problem for less than two weeks. Geek Squad has ordered a new basket (tub?) and it is due to be installed this week. In the meantime, nearly every load of laundry comes out with black smudges and I spend a lot of time scrubbing them out with Goo Gone and Dawn and hoping they will come out clean when I rewash them. At this point, I am very disappointed with this washer and with LG and wish Best Buy would just declare it a lemon and replace it under the extended warranty.

These movies all have great messages for children and adults and are lots of fun to watch, too. Be sure to pay attention to the details in the backgrounds as they are very clever.

The marketing for this movie didn’t do it justice and I didn’t see it in the theater until several weeks after it was released. But, I liked the movie enough to add it to my home library. The movie is very good and can be enjoyed by the entire family. The story behind the story is very touching because the movie is representative of his experience as a Korean immigrant who learned to appreciate the sacrifices made by his mother and father to give him a better life in the U.S. than he would have had in their native country. The colors and images in the movie are amazing.

I don’t buy a new phone every year and I appreciate the fact that Apple provides support for their products for a long time, in contrast to Android phones. I bought the iPhone 13 Pro after using my iPhone X for almost 4 years. I like the slight increase in size with the iPhone 13 Pro and the enhanced camera features are excellent. As expected, the phone was easy to set up and has been working very well. We bought this iPad for my 94-year-old uncle so that he can read a few books that are only available electronically. He also likes to read several news sites. Since my uncle is deaf and sometimes has trouble reading the closed captions on a TV, the iPad is perfect for him. He is still learn how to use it, but we can teach him slowly since he lives with us. The Apple iOS software is much easier to teach than Android tablets and the iPad is beautiful to watch. I believe that everyone can learn to use an iPad, at least the basics.

Does this model have the new keyboard that came with the refresh (2019)? or does it have the 2018's? which had more problems...?
My computer is a 2018 model, so it has the "butterfly" keyboard. However, I have not had any problems with the keyboard, other than getting used to the lower key profile which affects my "reach" and, therefore, I tend to make more typos. Functionally, though, the keyboard has worked perfectly.

I gave my husband an Apple Pencil, Gen. 1, for Christmas. The box contained the Apple Pencil, a double-ended Lightning adapter, and an extra tip. The Lightning adapter allows you to plug the pencil in one end and a Lightning-to-USB cable to the other end so you can charge the Pencil on your computer or a wall outlet.

Where can I get the adapter to my Apple pen
I'm not sure which adapter you mean. There is an adapter included with the Apple Pencil, Gen. 1, that allows you to plug it into a USB cable and charge it on your computer or the wall outlet. This particular adapter has Lightning Ports on each end, one for the pencil and one for the USB or USB-C cable. If this is the adapter you mean and you need a new one, you should contact Apple Support (1-800-275-2273). I know Apple Store and other retailers sell replacement tips for Apple Pencils, so they may also sell this power adapter.

i just got my pencil but the directions are so small i cant read them are they on line?
I agree that the paperwork that came with the Apple Pencil, 1st Generation, was hard to read. However, the printed instructions aren't really necessary. Just take the cap off the back end of the pencil, revealing the Lightning Connector, plug it into the iPad Lightning Port, and follow the instructions that appear on the screen. If you still have trouble, you can call Apple Support (1-800-275-2273).
If you call Apple, you should mention that the instructions included with the product are hard to read because of the font size and color.
