I was skeptical about it being a live action mix instead of the traditional animation but I did like it after all. The Atmos had a big sound with great low end LFE & lots of overhead channel use.

As we all know the franchise is milking it at this point but enjoying it while it last as it coming down to the last films. I was there for the first one at the Norwalk, CA theater & I’ll be there to the end despite they’re no longer focused around the car as a racing movie. I did enjoy the DTS:X track more on the 8th more for better use of all channels oppose to the Atmos on this one.

I enjoy the clear option & multiple color options. I would have prefer the option of also using AA batteries for those occasions when left sitting for some time & find it’s discharge when you’re ready to play. Would be nice if the button letters would light up as the LED colors blind you from making out which is which if you don’t have them memorized.

When a monstrous freak tsunami hits a sleepy beach community, a group of survivors from different walks of life find themselves trapped inside a submerged grocery store. As they try to escape to safety, they soon discover that there is a predator among them more deadly than the threat of drowning-vicious great white sharks lurking in the water, starved for fresh meat. As the bloodthirsty sharks begin to pick the survivors off one by one, the group realizes that they must work together to find a way out without being eaten alive.
