Maybe alot of people don't need a basic player, but I found this product very nice. No it doesn't connect to the internet but my OLED tv does, so I saved about 50 bucks. Basic 4K and the remote does the job. I like the ability to turn on captions.

Why does Optical out shut off when using ARC?? My older 2017 OLED had the on the audio menu that both ARC/Optical could be turned on. My Optical in hearing aid device made by Siemens can now not be used. Is there a software change or is this a bad set?
