Overall, the movie is still good, but it’s not great like part 1. But, the video quality is still terrific in 4K.

Better than season 2, not as good as season 1

It’s still very good, but it’s not quite as good as the incredible season 1. But it’s far better than the problematic season 2. And Ali is just plain amazing. He’s the biggest reason to watch this. The blu-Ray is terrific as all HBO shows tend to be so this is a great buy for adults for a taste for drama.

It’s ultimately a good fun old giant monster movie. It’s nothing mind-blowing but it’s a fun popcorn flick that you’ll munch lots of popcorn at home while watching this. The 4K is good but I got this mainly because it’s on sale. It’s no demo disc so get whichever version is cheaper.
