So Far So Good

Dryer was installed and so far is working well, The Geek Squad installer did not use the vent kit I was told when I purchased the dryer that I would need. The dryer is in an area with very limited space and may have benefited from the use of the kit that was provided, This resulted in a slight kink in the dryer exhaust when it was pushed back but has so far not caused a problem. I had the complete length of the vent professionally clean before the dryer was installed and so far it seems to be operating satisfactorily,

Slight problem which I resolved,

The two Geek Squad installers were very careful, seemed both knowledgeable and professional. After the installation I washed a load of clothing and there was a terrible racket that was unacceptable during the wash cycle. I discovered that they had installed the supply hoses without any attempt to uncoil them resulting in them banging against the washer which was causing the noise. I called him and he advised that they could not be straightened out because they were coiled that way by the manufacturer. I said that was unacceptable. I simply disconnected the hoses and uncoiled them with no problem and reconnected them. This corrected the problem.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Seems to operate well in default mode, Overdone technology and needs to be offered with a simple interface for ease of operation. I doubt we will ever use 90 % of the very complicated choices. My iPhone does not need to operate my Washer or Dryer or even know what it is doing.
Was purchased as a Washer/Dryer pair and have had the unit for about a month now and so for has been satisfactory otherwise.

Does washer and dryer pedestals prevent from vibration movement on Samsung?
Not Applicable , did not buy pedestals and did not purchase a Samsung. The Washer / Dryer we purchased were made bu LG.
