Not a direct out of the box installation

It does the job after modifications. A 2.5" drive mounts fine. The side holes to mount in a computer are not right. They are drilled/threaded for the smaller drive mount screws. They need to be the standard 6-32 mounting screw thread. Once threaded for 6-32 the standard screw length on the side closest to the drive hits the drive and needs to be cut down/shortened. None of the computer screw hardware acquired over the years would work without some modification. Works as intended after bracket and screw modifications.

This is a second one for my daughter. Bought it on a 'whim' and never new I 'needed it. Works very well and pretty accurate so far. Being able to put it in whatever you're cooking on the grill or in the oven without any wires is great. You can move around with the Bluetooth connectivity and monitoring. DO NOT put it near open flame so you don't melt the rubber end with the electronics.

Great strip for TV bias lighting. Perfect length for 32-42" TV, tape sticks well to a cleaned surface and even has extra double face tape for the control (at least 4 of the 5 did). The power lead is well thought out so the strip can be mounted with the control at easy access and a long tail to plug in. Dimmer and color features are very nice too.

My first smart TV and very happy with it. The base Insignia 32" was my typical extra bedroom TV purchase. Good picture and easy set up out of the box. Great feature set for the Black Friday sale price point; 3 HDMI & 2 USB. Two quirks. First the 100wx200l VESA mount is odd. Second the USB ports do NOT switch power on/off with TV power like most TVs.

This is an upgrade to my daughter's 'suitcase player'. Insignia might not be considered 'the brand' but the product can't be beat and the nicest entry turntable in the price range. The first one shipped to me had some issues which BB quickly sent a replacement; excellent customer service. The cartridge, Bluetooth out, phono pre-amp and tome arm adjustment move it to the top of he list. It's straight forward and quick to set up even including my extra tweaking of the tonearm shell and tracking force. One note is that the platter stops and the tone arm stays in the center of the album at the end. You manually return it back to the cueing stand. It plays well and sounds good too. I'm very impressed and think it's worth a try.

Is the power to the USB ports always on? Is there a way to switch the power on/off when the TV is turned on/off? I can't find anything in the settings or set up. I want to turn a LED light strip, used for bias lighting, on/off with TV power.

We have carpet through out the house, will the Roomba 890 go from room to room? Also have shag throw rugs on top of carpet, will the 890 get stuck on them?
Ours manages 9 rooms, hallways and entry on the first floor with carpet, tile & throw rugs Granted not all nine rooms are done on a single battery charge - usually 2-3 cleaning cycles to get it all. Depending on how 'light or stiff' the throw rugs are will determine whether they vacuum or wad up/move.

I have a small house full of furniture with hardwood been looking for one because wife and me don't get around that good we don't have iphones but we have wifi but my son and family livr here and thay do could anybody recommend something
It's a great addition to your vacuum, but won't replace it 100% . Occasionally you'll still need to vacuum. The iRobot will work with out the app by pressing the button on top. Your family could set up the unit for you on their phone/tablet to get it on your Wi-Fi then you could control it with Alexa/Google Home.
