Trims well. I don't get the best/easiest trim with the 'comb' covers, maybe it's me and I need some practice with my technique. It takes numerous passes over my eyebrows to trim all the hairs. All the other attachments work very well and cut cleanly. The storage bag while a nice feature, it's a bit small and a tight fit for all the parts.

Great addition to the smart home. Fast and easy set up with the Sync module and doorbell. The angle mount was included with this package as a nice Surprise. Sadly, my original Nutone doorbell system voltage wasn't compatible, but used a few of my Echo's to alert/chime instead. Fine tuning the proper field of vision and alert sensitivity. Added a USB micro drive for storage once the free online coverage expires so I don't have a monthly fee. I found this to be the best value and performance product balance for me. No short comings so far.

Good replacement for an old HDX7

Sale price made it easy to step up from the HD7. This replaced my old HDX7 that didn't run newer apps. Primarily used for smart home apps, but a few of those older apps aren't available on the HD8. Works well and user interface is smooth and effortless. The larger screen is not as easy to use one handed as I did with the HDX7. My initial concern with the lower screen resolution isn't as noticeable as I thought.

Is the power to the USB ports always on? Is there a way to switch the power on/off when the TV is turned on/off? I can't find anything in the settings or set up. I want to turn a LED light strip, used for bias lighting, on/off with TV power.

My turntable has quit turning. I tried unpluggoing it and replugging into power like the manual suggested, but it's still not turning.
