All three films from the Smokey and the Bandit trilogy -- including Smokey and the Bandit, Smokey and the Bandit 2, and Smokey and the Bandit 3 -- come together on DVD in this special box set. All three films are presented in letterboxed format at their original widescreen aspect ratios and enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors -- the first two films at the ratio of 1.85:1, the third in 2.35:1. The audio for all three films in is Dolby Digital Mono; Smokey and the Bandit features its original English-language soundtrack alongside dubbed versions in French and Spanish, while the second and third films appear in English only. The first film includes optional subtitles in Spanish, while the second and third films are subtitled in English and French. All three films include their original theatrical trailer as a bonus, while Smokey and the Bandit also includes production notes and biographies of the key cast and crew members.
