The power supply on my wife’s desktop was damaged by a power surge and this power supply got us back up and running. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a port for the internal CD/DVD burner, so we’ll have to get a portable USB drive. At least our machine is back up, so it’s a minor inconvenience.
