Easy to install. Stainless steel washing machine hose do not break. It is a shame that you have to throw away the hose that comes with the washer. Maybe the manuf. could lower the washing machine price a bit but let you know that you have to buy the hose separately. You could then decide cheap hoses or stainless.

As stated in the summary it fits in small spaces. One disadvantage is that you can not enter fabric softener. However, for the price and size it can not be beat. Great for rental properties were space is limited.

Does this come with a drain pan? I am installing on the second floor of a house, does it need a drain pan to prevent damage in cadence of a leak?
No. Can buy drain pan separately. (Not sure if Best sells drain pans but I know Lowe's does.) But, the problem is how do you drain the drain pan. The pan will NOT hold the water of a broken washing machine.
