With Strong Guy coming out as a Build a Figure for an upcoming Marvel Legends wave, then this is a great way to start off the late 90's X-Factor team. Havok look great in his updated costume, losing the head gear and going for a more 90's X-Men look. Polaris is just great, the previous figure left a lot to be desired and frankly the costume choice for this release really makes it stand out.

Daughter loves it

After sitting through this movie several times now thanks to my3 year old daughter, but it just doesnt have the same flair as most Disney movies. The songs sound forced and the story is just not that moving. Maybe its the source material or maybe its the interpretation but something is simply off. Still my 3 year old loves it.

Over the top adventure and Samuel L. Jackson. This is one of those movies that you didnt expect to like, and after the very first watching that was true. The problem lies in Samuel L. Jacksons Character Valentine. I just could not get behind this character, then after watching it a second time came to enjoy the movie as a whole and Valentine as well. At this point in time only two movies are available in the series, and while the second one is enjoyable, the first one still stands out as the best of the two.

It felt incomplete

The movie was good, and kept my interest, but when all is said and done it fell flat. It built and built to this great showdown that did not happen, in doing so it wore its desire for a sequel on its sleeve.
Its worth a watch, and if there is a sequel in the works then hopefully we get the payoff we waited for in this one, and they dont drag it into a trilogy, but they probably will.
