Game has not changed in years as EA continues to focus nearly exclusively on the pay-to-win micro-transaction quasi-gambling Madden Ultimate Team mode (as it is their #1 cash maker).
Unless you have to have an updated set of rosters there is simply no reason to buy the game this year. The commentary is awful and often does not even reflect what is happening on the field. Moreover, there simply is no immersion in the bland franchise mode. Finally, Long Shot takes a step back from last year in its story.
