Perfect for today's smartphones, especially if you need one that's small and fairly portable (and don't need more juice for bigger devices/laptops). Do note it uses USB-C connection (as typical for higher power PD), not regular USB though.
Some might wish the plug prongs retractable for greater portability (though that usually involves other compromises), but will have to look elsewhere for that.

Probably the best sub-$200 4K UHD player

Very solid 4K UHD player, especially for under $200 -- it can sometimes be found on sale for as little as ~$150. Probably the best tonemapping in this range for handling HDR, especially if your display can't do full HDR10 (like pretty much all projectors), though it doesn't support Dolby Vision, which should be just fine for all except some very discriminating videophiles w/ the best DV-capable setup -- most folks probably won't notice the diff at all.
Just wish it also included SACD playback like the Sony counterparts, but otherwise, probably the best sub-$200 4K UHD player on the market, if you don't really need DV support...
