If you don’t need a larger mousepad this may be for you. It’s thin and light but doesn’t slip around. And we won’t get wrist fatigue like you can from a thicker one. I just think it’s too small for larger gaming mice.

This keyboard and mouse is ideal, as we continue to throw away wires but you have to make sure wherever you are setting up your computer, and where you have your keyboard, is not blocked by a thick item, like a heavy desk.
I thought I bought a piece of garbage that did not work, but then I used a USB extender so that there was some line of sight where the USB signal has little to no interruption.
It works perfectly, smoothly with no freezes. Fell in love with this item again.

It's RF not Infrared

It's actually RF (Radio-Frequency) so it dos not have to be in direct sight lines but it does have to free of any similar radio signal frequency. Mine is plugged into the back of my desktop PC that sits inside a heavy wood roll-top desk and it works fine.
