Bohemian Rhapsody is an enthralling celebration of Queen, their music, and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and convention to become one of history's most beloved entertainers. Following Queen's meteoric rise, their revolutionary sound and Freddie's solo career, the film also chronicles the band's reunion, and one of the greatest performances in rock history.

Great band of the late 70's and early 80's. Me personally, I like their early stuff better. This movie will help you understand Queen better, Through the good and bad. Will we see a band like this again? I doubt it.

Shout Factory have been doing a heroic job of bringing one of the finest comedy series in television history, SCTV, to DVD, and the fourth volume in their ongoing series continues the pattern of excellence they established with their previous box sets. SCTV: Volume Four, featuring 12 complete episodes of the show aired between 1982 and 1983, documents the show shortly after Catherine O'Hara left the cast (though she makes a guest appearance on the 1982 Christmas show) and Martin Short had truly come into his own on the series. The material has been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the original single-channel audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. The source materials look great for video shot in the early '80s, and it's hard to imagine this set looking or sounding better. The dialogue is in English, with no multiple language options, though closed captions in English are included for the hard of hearing. Each of the four discs in this set includes bonus materials. Two episodes feature commentary tracks (Joe Flaherty and Martin Short discuss the CBC parody episode, while Short and Catherine O'Hara chat about the Christmas show), while Short also appears in an onscreen look at his tenure with the show. The show's producers are profiled in a documentary on disc five, and footage of Flaherty's 2004 appearance as Sammy Maudlin at Toronto's Second City improv theater is featured on disc four. The sources of some of SCTV's parodies are paid homage in profiles of The Red Fisher Show (which inspired "The Fishin' Musician"), the iconic Canadian independent film Goin' Down the Road, and the public service announcement series "Hinterland Who's Who" (the latter two of which were needled in the show's legendary CBC parody episode). And finally, we're given a look at the SCTV crew on their day off in home movies of the show's cast and writing staff playing softball with the technical crew on a cloudy Sunday. Fans of the series will be delighted with this set, and beginners will be amazed at just how smart and funny this material remains over 20 years after it was initially broadcast.

Saturday Night Live could learn a lesson here. You can be funny without the cruel political jokes. These are classic comedy superstars doing classic characters. SNL have no one worth mentioning. Mad TV is another good one, I will search Best Buy to see if they have some of the later seasons on DVD.
This double feature presents two feature-film versions of the classic 1960's television series THE ADDAMS FAMILY When long-lost Uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd) reappears after 25 years in the Bermuda Triangle, Morticia (Anjelica Huston) and Gomez (Raul Julia) ecstatically begin plans for a celebration that will wake the dead. Meanwhile, an evil lawyer is plotting ways to get at the ghoulish family's fortunes-which are stashed somewhere within a secret vault inside the family mansion. Only the daughter, Wednesday (played by the brilliant and stunningly stoic Christina Ricci), and the detached servant, Thing, suspect that something rotten is afoot. But can they prove anything before the vault is found and the Addams family is plunged into poverty? THE ADDAMS FAMILY (1991) is not only the cartoon and television family's film premiere but is also the directorial debut of talented cinematographer Barry Sonnenfeld. It has a winningly dark sense of humor that manages to be both lighthearted and macabre. In ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES (1993), Barry Sonnenfeld has performed the remarkable feat of making a sequel even more entertaining than it's predecessor. The charmingly creepy Addams family (based on characters originally created by the morbid Charles Addams) have two new additions, mustachioed baby Pubert and sunny nanny Debbie Jellinsky. While Debbie (wonderfully played by Joan Cusack) charms the adults of the family, particularly Uncle Fester, the children discover that she is actually a serial killer called the Black Widow. The children are soon shipped off to summer camp as part of nanny dearest's diabolical plot. It's at Camp Chippewa that some of the funniest scenes occur, particularly one in which Wednesday tells genuinely terrifying ghost stories to the other campers and another that features both Addams children being sent the Harmony Hut as punishment for trying to esc
