Eternals sets it up for the MCU

I feel asleep watching this in theaters, Imax specifically. Either I was really tired or really bored. Never really found out the answer to that, but if you’re wondering why 5 stars, let me say this: right off the bat, this movie is stunning in 4k! Eternals is laying the foundation for something big taking place in the MCU. After purchasing this movie, I watched it again and stayed up the whole time. I was impressed with myself. Turns out the movie wasn’t boring after all. There a lots of details and Easter eggs in the film so you have to watch closely. It’s very different from the marvel movies we are used to and it is very slow for some viewers , but it’s enjoyable. Glad I gave it another shot.

Maximum Carnage!

First, let me review the steelbook: nothing short of amazing. The colors pop like crazy. It literal looks like a metal comic book cover! I have the steelbook from the first Venom movie and they definitely stepped up their game with this one!
On to the movie review: Did I like the movie? Yes. Was it amazing? No. As a comic book fan, where you pleased with the creation and design of Carnage? Absolutely! What about the movie didn’t you like? Certain plot points in the film. Can you be more specific? Let’s just say there didn’t need to be an additional villain in the movie? So you didn’t like Carnage’s girlfriend? A serial killer a girlfriend is not something I would call common. Anything else you want to add? Certainly….
The focal point of the movie should have been Venmo vs Carnage, not Venom tries to stop Carnage from breaking his girlfriend out of jail so they can be a bad comic book interpretation of Bonnie and Clyde. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, but I’m sure I’m not the only one that felt deprived of action from this movie, along with the idea that it could have been much better. Nevertheless, movie looks beautiful in 4k.

I have heard a lot of chatter about how a lot of people didn’t like this movie and how the plot and story line were all over the place but, when it comes to madness, specifically what the literal definition of it means, the movie went right along with what madness is supposed to look like! Touch Screen Radio Install

Upgraded the head unit on my 2005 Ford Taurus. Went from a Kenwood Exceleon KDC-X998 to a Pioneer AVH-3500NEX. Both are single DIN stereos but the pioneer has more modern technology. It has a 7” flip out screen that allows a backup camera hook up and also features Apple CarPlay. Install took about 3 hours, which included swapping out the radios and installing the backup camera. The Geek squad installers were also kind enough to give me a Bluetooth mic cable for free since I didn’t have one for my new radio. I purchased the items online not at BestBuy. I had Geek Squad install parts since they have a killer warranty. Great service!

Good bang for you buck

I was looking for some desktop speakers to help fill out the sound in my apartment when listen to music using Apple Airplay. I have a Samsung+ Soundbar in the living room and bedroom, along with Bose speakers in the bathroom and kitchen. These speakers worked great in helping balance out the sound throughout the apartment. The bass from these speakers is adequate but not too loud or boomy. Since I already have a subwoofer in the living room, I wasn’t looking for any with too much bass. Just enough to help with the mids and highs. Instead of connecting it to my Samsung monitor, I plugged it directly into my Mac Mini using the 3.5 mm jack. This allows for better volume control. Great speakers for the price!

Upgraded from the Fitbit Alta HR after years of multiple broken bands and faulty water resistance. The Inspire 2 is levels above the Alta HR.
