A Great Leap Forward

Wow! This thing is huge but not heavy. I did not expect that, I thought the box would be heavy as hell! I did watch Xbox videos and the packing/box for Microsoft’s console is much more elegant. This is just standard packaging with foam. Nothing special here.
The big question I had was - would PS5 fit in my entertainment console? It does! BARELY. Out of curiosity I also tested on a different stand that’s not my main entertainment center and it fits there as well. Chances are if you got IKEA stuff, it'll fit.
Once the PS5 was plugged in and powered on, the setup procedure was nice and simple. It went through an HDR calibration step which I thought was interesting. Data transfer from PS4 was also easy.

To see the lights you do have to power it on. Push and hold the on button for about 2 seconds
