The Blu-ray provided an excellent picture & sound. This movie tells the story of two men in war. One is a Navajo code talker and the other is the Marine assigned to protect him and the code. The battleground is in the Pacific in World War II and the U.S.M.C. is using a code based on the Navajo language and the Japanese are desperate to break the code. This movie is better than the critics reviews.

Three great action westerns with Eastwood!

The Blu-rays provided excellent picture and sound. They are a definite upgrade from the DVD versions.
My favorite of these three movies is High Plains Drifter. Clint plays a stranger who rides into town to avenge a past murder.
The second movie is Two Mules for Sister Sara. Shirley McLaine plays Sara and Eastwood is once again a mysterious gunman.
The third movie is Joe Kidd and this movie is better than its reputation. Eastwood plays Kidd and he doesn't kid around when the bad guy gets him riled. Excellent price for three movies on separate discs.

The Blu-ray is a big upgrade in quality from the DVD version. Watching the blu-ray version was almost like seeing the movie for the first time. There is plenty of action as the movie takes place on the Russian Front in 1943. James Coburn is the leader of a German squad of soldiers fighting to survive an onslaught of Russians. Coburn clashes with a new German Officer whose sole purpose for being there is to win the Iron Cross. The ending is a bit of a surprise but the movie is well worth watching

I had high hopes for this movie after watching the movie Sicario.
This movie was a big let-down and the story was just not believable.
The movie never came together and I guess the writer and director have to take the blame for that. I won't be watching if they make a third Sicario movie.

This is the second Riddick movie and is a rousing adventure but not quite as good as the first Riddick movie, Pitch Black. This time Riddick is going to try to save the world from an army of savage killers. The movie was entertaining but I had trouble at times in following the convoluted plot.

This movie takes place in Georgia right after the end of the Revolutionary War. The hero is a young physician who is placed in charge of a large Southern Plantation after the owner dies. The daughter of the owner does not like her father's decision and plans on getting his will overturned in court. This is a very entertaining movie based on a Frank Slaughter novel. Watch it and you will be glad you did.
