Will my old pedestal WDP3V work for my new washer I will buy, WM3770HVA?
Probably not if it was bought with washers from 7+ years ago. I made this mistake recently when buying a new washer. Thought the old pedestal would work with the new washer. The delivery / install team brought the new washer, but they would not install it because it was incompatible with the old pedestal. Cost me another three days and another ~$200 to get the correct pedestal puchased and delivered, and then they installed the new washer on the new pedestal. I would recommend going ahead with the new pedestal, painful as the extra ~$200 might be.
