Great weather radio! Gives you an alert that you can't ignore when dangerous weather is coming your way. Compact, can be charged with solar cells on top if you lose power, and has included flash light, audio and visual beacon if you need to be rescued. The only problem is that violent weather is becoming more common in the US, and the warning is going off more often. Unfortunately, the national weather service is not that localized, so you may be alerted for hail somewhere 40 miles away from your home. That is not the radio's fault, however.

This is a great little package if you have a 4k TV, like to stream movies, or use the built in plex media server to watch your collection of movies with an excellent on the fly 4K upscaling that is well worth the price of this little box. I love OLED screens, with their deep blacks, wide color gamut and near perfect picture quality. I own two, a Sony (which uses the same LG panel, but costs thousands more than this one, which has much of of the same features. Easy to set up, the picture is great, even with SD sources, thanks to the A.I. features which do an amazing job of up-scaling lower resolution sources. Shines with 4K content and Dolby vision. Built in sound system is better than expected, although not a "cool" as the SONY, which uses the panel as the speaker.

It is amazing how this movie has held up to scrutiny 50 years after it's initial release. While you would need a huge curved projection screen to recreate the impact this film had while being seen in the super wide screen theaters of the time, this 4K release brings the closest approximation to a home theater set up. Sad that in 2019, we are so far behind Arthur C. Clark's inspiring vision of the future of space exploration.
