Can this system be used on a different brand of tv other than Visio. My niece has an LG ??
Yes, I have a Samsung TV and use it with this. When connected through HDMI ARC port it will label the sound under Visio but can use your standard remote as long as you use the ARC port. You can also use optical as well which shouldn't effect compatibility as well, but don't think you should have any trouble with the HDMI port.
