All of the smarts of the Google Assistant integrated with an amazingly clear display. Seriously, the display is so clear, and the dynamic lighting of said display is so amazing so as to make it look as though it is a fake display not lit from within ...except it 'is' lit from within!
The whole family is living the running slideshow, which brings back fond memories of past events, while my wife can call up a recipe, I can visually see my commute, and what music my daughter is listening to ...so I'm not the uncool parent constantly asking "who are you listening to?"

Great that someone chose to continue the stories of John Constantine as I was only just starting to enjoy the live action series when it was sumarilly canceled.
This picks up characters where the series left off, and brings it into the realm of an R rated animated feature for release for the home video market.
Colors are solid, and vibrant, and HDR brings out good detail in the ever present shadows. - 7 of 10, because it cannot really be compared to any 4K live action version.
Audio is active in all channels - a solid 7.5 of 10

I now see the reality that surrounds us, and it looks amazing! Color saturation and HDR black level are at near reference level. I would state 8 of 10.
Audio get's an 8.5 of 10 with the addition of the high definition audio track and the inclusion of Dolby Atmos

Well choreographed action, combined with endearing/compelling characters, added to the outstanding production value make for one heck of a fun superhero flick suitable for the whole family!
This film's only weakness is the casting of the villian, who was also the weak spot in the recent Tomb Raider reboot. I just don't find him very menacing.

The effects, sound, and picture quality on this are all spot-on, and when viewed on my 75" 4K display, the upconverted images look clear colorful, and well-detailed.
The 3D in this movie is solid, and provides an ample sense of depth.
The audio utilizes all channels in heavy action scenes, encompassing the viewer within the action on-screen! LFE gets a nice workout with explosions.

Better than anticipated

Don't believe the naysayers. This movie is a worthy installment into the Star Wars universe. Alden E as Solo grew on me. You can actually see a bit of the essence of the Han Solo that we know and love peaking through, and the story gives ample surrounding characters from which you can see the familiar character evolving and adapting from.
I wish that this had done better in the box office, as I would love to see how the character develops and grows.
Technically the presentation is dark at times, so you will want to have the lights down low, or better yet, turned off. The sound is active across all channels, however the Dolby Atmos is not utilized to the extent that I would like. HDR is present, but nowhere near reference level, leaving those with HDR capable displays with HDR-esque images which border upon that of being slightly muddled and grey.
Over all, this is a worthy title to add to any collection. Not reference quality, but a fun ride!

My opinion is that this franchise, much like that of the Transformers films, has run it's course.
We are now at a point where the film makers are simply taking previously seen situations, characters, and action sequences, and rearranged to create 'slightly different' situations, characters, and action sequences.
I skipped this one at the theaters after having seen the previous installment, and only decided to purchase this release to appease my daughter, and help support 3D Blu-ray sales.
Technically, the movie looks and sounds great. The 3D provides additional depth and the multi-channel sound is active and encompassing, but with all that said ...we have all been here, and have heard and seen this all before.

This 4K presentation brings with it clear and colorful images, as one would expect with HDR, however it isn't what I would refer to as "reference quality".
Audio is immersive in the major action scenes (there are many), and the LFE channel gets a 'fine' workout!

Hey I’m looking at buying a quest but is it worth getting 128 or 64. I’m looking to buy to play with my friend in Texas. So is it possible to play with someone across the country. Thanks for answering.
Memory is not expandable. That said, the apps are not huge, but if you intend to download movies, or (like me) horde a large library of installed apps, it would be advised to spring an extra $100 for double the storage.
Doubling the storage will also give a higher resale value, should a time come in the future where you would consider selling it and upgrading.

When your in a game, do one of the controllers move off into the distance by itself?
No. If you are experiencing this, your headset is losing tracking of your touch controller.
This can be due to ambient lighting overpowering the sensors of the head unit making it difficult for it to see and track the IR emitters from the controllers.
It could also be batteries in the controllers getting weak.

The Oculus Quest is not recommended for children under the age of 13. Add to this, that most six year olds do not understand the concept of value, so any use should be closely supervised so as not to damage a $400+ device.

I want to use Quest for my VR Fine Art Painting project. Do I need any additional hardware or software to paint, export and import my projects? Can I use Google Tilt Brush app in 64 GB Quest device? Can I directly upload my artwork to Google Drive/FB.com?
Check out Tilt Brush. It includes a variety of brushes, textures, and allows you to work in a 3 dimensional space, resizing, and moving the art around, zooming in to add detail, rotating it to add color and texture. It is very cool, and there are many videos on YouTube.
