I HAVE AN OLDER ARLO SYSTEM WHICH REQUIRES BATTERY REPLACEMENT EVERY 4 MONTHS PROX. I WOULD LIKE TO CONVERT TO THE SOLAR METHOD OF BATTERY MAINTENANCE, AND WAS WONDERING WHAT I NEED TO DO TO MAKE THE CHANGE. DO I NEED TO GET A NEW CAMERA?
I have the Arlo Pro and the solar panel's cord has the same plug as my charger. The install was rather easy and just needed to plug it in. It may be worth trying and you can always bring the panel back if it does not work, I like the panel as I have one camera that requires a ladder to swap out batteries...a time save and limits worries too.
