Install incomplete, call center waste of time

Install window is 12 hours initially. Later they called with a 4 hour window. You have absolutely no control on this time. They pick it.
Install happened almost without a hitch. They did not install the badge on my fridge and said they couldn't find it and said I could go to the store and get one to install myself because they always have a ton of them (in hindsight I should've made them go get it for me). They said the would leave notes. After that everything went down hill.
Went to the store, and they said they had no idea what I was talking. Called their call center, and waited on hold for 30mins for them to send me to some third party company, who said they would give it to but I had to pay $20 plush shipping for it myself. I refused to pay for something I should've gotten to begin with, so I called Bestbuy again and waited another 30mins. The new person could not help get me the part but said I could return the fridge. Are you freakin kidding me. They want to return a $2000 fridge because of a missing $20 badge. What a waste of money also i did not want to spend another day waiting on a delivery and install. Just wasteful on so many levels.
So I gave up on Bestbuy honoring the promise to give me a new badge and asked for the number of the place where I could buy the badge myself. They gave me a wrong number, so i called Bestbuy yet again and waited 15mins on hold. They gave me a new number, and i called what i still to this day am not sure was the same third party parts company, because this time they said they did not have the badge and its not something they could order.
I gave up and called GE and they sent me one right away for free.
TLDR Version: GE is great, Bestbuy install no so much. My install was incomplete and their call center is a waste of time. They are very corporate in how the handle situations, even to the point where it makes no sense. They can only follow their strict system and book and can't actually solve problems for members.

Not worth it, a discount is better than this

I would rather have a discount on my item than this corporate attempt to get me to spend more money at their store.
If you return an item, you lose your e-gift. They will not refund it too. Also, you cannot use more than one card at a time.
This is just a sad attempt to get customers to spend more money at their store.

Cancels with no notice on delivery day

They keep cancelling my installation appointment with no notice or explanation. I spent a total of hours on hold or on the phone with customer support. Customer support was fine, but this third party that handles install is the worst. They cancel without any notice on the day of the installation. I ask to have install done on the same day as delivery, and then they cancel it. When the issue was escalated to the install team, they never called me back. I had to go into the store and the appointment got pushed back to weeks later even though the cancelled it on me for now reason. I have had my install cancelled and pushed back now 4 times. If they actually fulfill my install this upcoming appointment, it will have been 6 weeks after the date of my original appointment. Buyer beware. Never pay for this service. Just buy the item from Home Depot or Lowes instead

A discount is better than E-Gfit cards...

You cannot use multiple e-gift cards at a time and if you return the item you lose the card. Bestbuy does not refund e-gift cards even if the item returned was their fault. Finding the card is a pain in the butt too. It would only show one on my account. I had to hunt down the email to find this one.

Cancels appointments w/ no notice on delivery day

The deliver department is the worst. They will cancel your delivery and never tell you why. Also, the deliver window is from 7am to 7pm. 12 hours is beyond ridiculous! That just means your company can't properly manage if you can only guess between a 12 hours window.
Also, they will wait until the day of your appointment after you already waited 6 hours before cancelling your appointment with absolutely notice. It happened to me twice, TWICE! I had to ask off work and waste vacation days for something to this day I STILL am waiting to be delivered.
I called Bestbuy and they reached out to the delivery department to escalate my issue and said someone would call me back in 24 to 48 hours. They (Jamie) never called me. I had to call them 4 days later.
Don't expect any fair compensation either for wasting days waiting on deliveries and hours on the phone on hold dealing with various customer service reps. The most Bestbuy can do by policy is 10% of the price of the item and they will absolutely not budge on this. I just wanted compensation that would cover having the item delivered by another company instead of their horrible delivery service.
This has been the worst experience I have ever had like this, and I will be cancelling my Total Tech plan. This companies delivery service is not worth it. I would rather pay someone who cares about their customers and doesn't cancel appointments on the with not notice!

I love this fridge! It is so sleek and nice looking. The extra drawer comes in really handy, and the shelves are very dynamic and can be changed to fit different things. I also appreciate the alarm that reminds me if I didn't shut my fridge all the way, and I love the removable water pitcher. How did I live so long with out this feature.

High pitch whiny fan

I wanted to love this laptop. However the fan noise is unbearable. I work IT, so I am no stranger to loud fan noises so normally I'm good at tuning it out but this one is just so high pitch and whiny its equivalent to nails on a chalkboard.
Also, the fan noise is relentless. Playing a game, downloading, casual browsing, it's all the same. My current laptop at least only got loud when I was playing games or doing other graphic intensive hobbies, but this one is to shrill and constant.
Not sure if i got a defective laptop or this is just the norm. Regardless, I either don't trust this model or just don't like it. Will be returning this for sure.

How loud are the fans on this laptop?

Not sure if I just had a defective model, but mine made a really high pitch whining sound. It wasn't really loud, but it was so shrill I couldn't ignore it, and it gave me a headache after enough time passed. I really tried to ignore it, but it was too distinct. Also, I work IT and I'm often in server rooms. So I am no strange to various loud fan noises, so even I was amazed with how much this bothered me.
