OLED is still the best display technology until something else comes along to de-throne it. Blacks are blacks and whites are whites and thousands of colors in between are crisp and bright. Viewing angle is superb, much better than LCD display technology.
That being said this TV replaces my 4 and a half year old LG OLED display that suddenly developed an intermittent issue with something on the mother board leading to random on/off issues and picture freezes all by itself with no inputs whatsoever. My childrens LG TVs are all working fine so I managed to get this 2024 model year set for half what I paid 4.5 years ago. The picture is that good!

Replaced our old dishwasher with this new LG top control model and does an excellent job. The cycle times are longer with these newer dishwashers, but the plates and stainless items come out sparkling clean and dry. Some reviews I've seen complain there is no drying cycles but if you let the cycle complete itself you will find the steam/hot water gets things hot enough to air dry with the forced air fan in operation.

OLED is the premier technology for flat screens today and this set doesn't disappoint as far as picture quality. The blacks are indeed "true black" since the black pixels are not lit (and there is no backlight to bleed through as an LED backlit screen can do). Out of the box, the Contrast setting was dialed up to 100% from the factory. IMO, dial it back to 80% and the electronics will like you for it.
My only caveat is the sound system. With such a thin screen, the electrical cabinet is small and provides a very small "acoustic chamber". The result is a sound that is very tin-ny; plan on adding a sound bar to get the most enjoyment out of the set.

I actually got this iMAC for my wife's usage after not being able to put up with her annoyances with her PC desktop. Her desktop wasn't the issue-it was all the BS of dealing with Microsoft and their continuous updates and changes.

I can't say enough about the quality of the CGI graphics that were used to make this latest movie adaptation of the story of the Battle Of Midway in WWII. They are first rate and worth the price of the disc just to see them even if it didn't have a superb cast to tell the story.
Woody Harrelson does a superb rendition of Admiral Chester Nimitz trying to dig the USNavy out of the tremendous hole they found themselves in after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
