Bought this on sale for $549.
Pros:
The physical features of this chromebook are great. It looks and feel like a premium device and I loved the backlit keyboard.
The chromebook is very responsive and startup time is incredibly fast.
It's light and never having used a touchscreen laptop before, browsing the web with this was a great experience.
If you're committed and comfortable within the Google ecosystem, this will be very easy and fun to use.
Cons:
The screen seemed washed out. Colors were not nearly as vibrant when compared side by side with my phone.
Within the first six hours of use, it crashed/froze twice and I had to hard reset (I don't think this was indicative of a device or software flaw; probably just an unlucky coincidence, but worth noting).
For my use, this chromebook could never work. I like having my music on my phone and I usually buy music from Google, download it to my pc, then transfer it to my phone (there's probably an easier way to do this, but that's what I'm used to). I spent about an hour trying to download a song from Google play to the chromebook and transferring it to my phone and could never get it to work. The closest I got was downloading the file, but without the artist name or album info/art.
Along these same lines, there's no traditional file directory for navigating the system and storing/transferring files. Transferring files was inexplicably limited.
Conclusion:
I could have overlooked the screen, and like I said, I didn't think it crashing twice was a red flag, but to pay $600 and not be able to do some of the most rudimentary actions that you could on a pc, I felt like it was a waste of money. I ended up returning it and as you're limited to Google's ecosystem, I'm not sure if mid or high end pc specs aren't wasted in a chromebook. I just don't see what you need the extra computing power if you're basically just surfing the web. I've never been big on mobile gaming, but even there I doubt the need for high end specs when low to mid end phones run the same apps just fine. Could just be my misunderstanding of how the system works, but at this point, doesn't seem worth the extra money to me.
I really wanted to like this chromebook, and aesthetically I did. Using Chrome and a few apps was easy and fun. But it's not a pc, and I realized I was more comfortable and perhaps dependent on pc capabilities than I realized. I haven't given up on chromebooks and as always, HP did impress with this device, but they're just not for me. Not yet anyway.

I am up on Vizio. I've had this sound bar for about a month now and I am very happy with it. I paired it with my Vizio P65-F1 TV and it adds so much to the viewing experience. I'm coming from a 2.1 system so the added surround sound really blew me away. I'm a huge Sony fan and would have gone with a Sony system instead, but the pricing on this system was too good to pass up and given my love for my Vizio TV, I figured I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did.
The sound is crisp and clear and the sub provides more than enough bass and it sounds great, not muddled or anything.
Initial setup was easy, but I'm a stickler and just had to be sure I was getting Dolby Atmos sound and this took a bit of messing around with the settings and input connection; mostly on the xbox side of things. Nothing too hard and I don't mind tinkering around with this kind of stuff.
The audio settings are very customizable and the Vizio app is a great wat to adjust the settings. Connected to my phone via Bluetooth very easily and music sounds great.
Aesthetically, it looks good, but it'd look better if the side panels were black, not silver. I have the rear satellites mounted on some Atlantic speaker stands and the small size of the satellites and big headphone style jack connections required me to modify the speaker stands to get it to fit properly. Not an issue really, just something to be aware of.
Now, as for the Atmos feature. I have a relatively small living room, a little bigger than 12x15 with an 8 ft ceiling. It could just be me, but I don't really notice sounds from above too often. It's not overwhelmingly obvious. A few times I feel completely engrossed by the sound all around but again, can't distinguish individual sounds coming from above. I've watched Baby Driver and Avengers Infinity War on 4k and they sound great, but I'm not hearing things happening directly above me. Given this, the overall sound is still so good, I've never thought once about returning this product. I'm happy and I'd recommend this to anyone in need of a surround sound system.

I bought this to replace an an older Panasonic home phone system. Nothing was wrong with it, but I simply needed the automatic call blocking feature.
We've had our home phone number for more than 30 years and it feels like it's on about every robo-call machine out there. We were getting at least 4-6 robo/telemarketing calls a day at all hours. Not wanting to change our number, I figured I'd give this phone system a try.
It automatically blocks all of these calls and I couldn't be happier. All the other features work as well as they should and the phone looks pretty cool too. I wish the "Talk" and "End" buttons lit up, most of the other buttons do, but you know where they are so it's not a big issue. Nearly $100 bucks after taxes is a lot for a home phone that we don't use that much, but to keep telemarketers off the line, it's definitely worth it. There are cheaper options, other brands, that offer the automatic call blocking, but I've had good experience with Panasonic and will continue to buy their products.

Been waiting for this new Sony Blu-ray player to get to the stores. BUT! I read on the internet that there are only 2 streaming apps installed. Netflix and YouTube. My question is, "Can you download other streaming apps"? I need Hulu and Vudu.
I have this player (UBP X800 M2) and I asked Sony customer service about that, and unfortunately, Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video, is all they support right now, but did say it would be possible for further support with an update, but couldn't confirm that such update would be coming at any point. Fingers crossed it will, but honestly, you're buying this player for disc playback and it's awesome. Quality is amazing and with all the settings on Auto, I'm getting Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. No need to mess around with the settings or any of that. I have a Roku Ultra for other streaming services.

What speaker stands are recommended for the rear speakers?
I bought some Atlantic speaker stands. I really like them, but they did require some modification.
The bottom part of the bracket stuck out further than the speaker, and had to be cut. Also, on the back I had to use a spacer and a longer screw than what came with the stands so that the connection to the speaker on the back could fit. I used parts/pieces that I had so I didn't have to buy anything.
From what I've seen, the way these speakers plug in with the jack, most speaker stands will require some modification, but don't let that keep you from buying these speakers. I've had them for almost 2 months now and I live them.
