Bought this for a Garmin DriveSmart 61. Put about 3000 miles on it so far and it's a keeper. Only managed to break it loose one time and that was in a last-second, whiplash U-turn. It sits on the passenger-side dash of a 2015 Scion xB.
It's not obvious from the pictures, but the base is actually pliable and can be molded to the curvature of your dash (within reason, of course). The bottom of the mount is fairly soft and tacky. When not in use, I keep it in the poly bag it came in to keep debris off the bottom.
I bought this at the Thunderbird Road location in Phoenix. The guy who helped me tossed the store looking for the last one they had in stock. Sure glad he did.

For the money, this is a rocking little laptop and runs like a champ within its prescribed limits.
After setting it up (and being mindful of what permissions you're giving it), let it do it's thing. Restart, then go to work stripping it of everything you don't need. If you're afraid you might delete something necessary, set a restore point before uninstalling, disabling or limiting access to all the pre-installed junk. Strip the Startup Apps to the bare minimum. Create a High Performance plan.
SWITCH OUT OF S MODE! PC users are terrorized enough by Microsoft without allowing them to dictate what apps you can load on YOUR computer. Billy wants to psychically scrotize you by threatening that you can't go back once you switch out of S Mode. You won't want to.
Change your account settings to run locally only. The Cloud is not your friend.
It's always irritating to see perfectly good products slagged by people who erred in purchasing them. How many times does Lenovo have to comment that this is a "light-duty" laptop and not up to compute-intensive multi-tasking to get the light bulb to come on?
Are you going to record, mix and master your next hit record on this? No, you're not. Are you going to become the Shadow of the Tomb Raider world heavyweight champ on this? No, you're not.
Get rid of the bloat and you'll enjoy power-on to log-in under 20 seconds. Run it within its specs and you'll find you got a very good laptop for the little money you spent on it.
As always, YMMV.

I returned the computer not because the computer was bad, but because Microsoft programs were preventing me from doing what I wanted to do. Example blocking none Microsoft programs. I have have Lenovos before and I would reccomend the computer

Ok this review is not about the product that I purchased. It's about the online chat that is "SUPPOSED" to help you make smart purchase decisions. I asked specifically if the computer was one that shipped with windows 10 in mode-s. Gave the person the information ask based on the SKU number. Was told you can bring it back if it is. Told the person I did not wish to do that. That the reason that I am chatting is to have to do that. The person insisted that they had checked and it was not mode-s. So i order the computer. After getting it setup to use I tried to down load non windows software, which by the way was the main purpose for ordering a non mode-s computer. You guess it! It was a mode-s system. Now I have to get into my car and drive to the store to return it. Now it is an open boxed item. I was trying not do that. Had the person told me that it was i would have ordered a different computer. I am trying to support the local stores by using the online ordering system in my local community, however if you can't rely on the information given by those online who are supposed to help you then what can you do? I am going give the site another chance, but burn me once shame on you burn me twice shame on me. So going forward I would think BB should check those who make recommendations against orders returned as to why. That's my review of bad advice not a bad product.

Switching out of S-Mode is a couple of mouse clicks and it's free. Sucks when people slag perfectly good products because they don't know what they're doing.

Can this laptop be connected to a projector and/or a smartboard?
Yes, if your device has an HDMI input. Go to "Display Settings" to detect/identify the projector/smartboard. Under "Multiple Monitors" select "duplicate these displays".
If your device does not accept an HDMI input, you would have to purchase an adapter (HDMI - VGA or HDMI - DVI, etc.)
