Still happy after 3 months

The main reason that I bought this oled tv is for the great looking black tones. The tv screen is thinner than a 1/4 inch! Unboxing it and mounting the base was scary. The screen has no frame to hold and the base is heavy. You cant just sit the tv on the base before tightening the screws. The base attaches to the lower back of the tv. I laid the screen face down on the box with the plastic protector still on the screen. Then my wife helped hold the heavy base while I inserted and tightened the screws. The base over hung the box so the screen would lay flat while I attached the base. I was worried I would break the screen just trying to turn the tv upright since there is no frame around the screen to grab. Especially after reading another review saying the screen broke easily while being cleaned. Once i got the tv upright, I was able to pick it up by the base. I hope I never have to move this tv. Ive tried not to touch the screen to avoid fingerprints after removing the temporary screen protector. The customer service at the college park MD store was poor. I came in an hour before closing and was the only customer. I brought the tv to the front by myself. The packaging was good but i would not have pivoted/slid the tv onto a flat cart by myself if i knew how fragile it is. When I found someone to check me out, she seemed suprised that there was a customer, like they had locked the doors already and didnt think there were any customers in the store. I had to wait for someone to open the doors to let me out. This was at least 20 minutes before closing. I had to pull my suv up to the front and leave the tv on the cart. The employee that unlocked the doors wheeled the tv out while i was pulling up to the entrance. I was trying to get my seats folded down and the employee didnt want to wait and started craming it in at an angle with the seatback pressed into the middle of the box before i could get the seats folded out of the way. I even told him to wait and he didn't. Not respectful of an $1800 tv. I would have rather loaded it myself and not had any of the emoyees touch it. Getting it home and unboxed was stressful. The picture looks great on all the shows and movies I've watched from fios and my 4k bluray player. I have hdmi 2 cables ran to both. If I pull up the same demo video from the store on the youtube app, the picture looks just as good as in the store. All the LG oled demos look amazing. I have my pc hooked to it and the colors looked weird to me. Changing to the vivid picture mode seemed to make the picture from my computer look more like the colors that im used too. The colors seemed even more off when playing ps4 pro (4k output). The colors looked kind of light and muted especially in the game picture mode. Once i tried playing the tony hawk game, the video scenes were in 4k hdr and the playstation had me make darkness adjustments for the hdr picture. This seemed to make the colors look more like what i was used to with my old samsung 4k tv. Over all im very happy with the tv. Dark scenes look really good since there is no edgelighting. I got 2 years no interest financing with my bestbuy card. Hopefully it doesnt break before I get it paid off.

I havent watched this yet but the steelbook looks cool. I found one left for store pickup and there are no dents in case. Other steelbooks that I ordered from bestbuy for home delivery came packaged in thin bubblewrap envelopes and arrived with small dents on the edges of the steel case. I bought this on a 20% off promo for buying 2 movies. Glad I found one left in the store.

I love this movie and the rest of the trilogy. I saw it in the theater the only weekend it played. Cool looking steel book. When it went on sale for $13, I had to buy it just to have it as a collectable even though I had already bought a 4k disc when it was first released. If you care about getting a steel book without any dents, I would try to find it in the store. Bestbuy mails their steelbooks in a thin bubble envelope.

Havent watched it yet but I wish bestbuy would package these steelbooks better for shipping. It arrived in a thin bubblewrap and dented like the other steelbooks that i have bought from bestbuy. These are supposed to be collectible. I had to find a store that had it in stock to go to and exchange the movie for one that wasnt dented. This store only had a couple in stock. Bestbuy now has a very limited amount of blurays in store and they have stopped selling cds all together

Couldnt tell a difference

It didnt seem like I would have been able to tell the difference between the 4k bluray that I watched and the regular bluray version. I dont think the film transferred to 4k very well. I really wish bestbuy would package the steelbooks better for shipping. These are meant to be collectible and i recieved my steelbook in a thin bubblewrap with some small dents in the case. The last steelbook i recieved in the mail was also dented and i had to find a store that had it in stock to go to and exchange the movie.
Bestbuy now has a very limited stock of movies in the store and they stopped selling cds all together.
