Was able to have a conversation while mowing the yard. They stay in the ears very well. Hi! I am not sure. In my opinion the wattage is not as important as with a stereo. It has plenty of power to produce great sounds. The highs, mids, and lows can all be adjusted to your desired levels. When watching explosions and action on TV, the sound is totally immersive!!
