I have used this item in limited capacities since I got it. Am hoping to play with it more soon.
I set it up to follow my kid as she ran down the sidewalk testing out the auto follow ability. Worked great.
Pretty simple to navigate using the app. Sometimes a little finicky getting it hooked up at first. But overall not difficult.

Would the extenders work with ip cameras on my network?
These devices simply connect to each other through the electrical lines in order to create a new connection on the network. It doesn't matter what you plug in to them as long as they are working the connection is bridged. Just make sure for ip cameras you get the one that operates at 1 gig. It could make a difference.
I have used these for bridging the gap between access points and computers back to a network. Ip cameras would be no different.
