The only negative, besides the cost, is the requirement for a hub that drives up the cost and amount of equipment required.

These lights are solid and fully functional. We have only just begun exploring their capabilities but already enjoy the variety of lighting options that are voice controlled through our Google Home.
The only knock is the requirement for the hub device which drives up the cost.

These are expensive but are solid and reliable. They integrate well with Google Home though changing them after initial installation is a bit clumsy.
I would prefer a system that doesn't require a separate hub to help keep the cost down and reduce the amount of equipment involved.
