I purchased this for my 12x12 Kitchen, wasn't sure if it would be enough to brighten the kitchen enough. After a not too hard installation it does the job. I like that I can have the bright like while cooking and the softer light while eating. It's also nice to dim it so we can walk through without having to turn the lights on every time. Combination with he switch makes a nice setup.
