Samsung camera hype

So Samsung did a great job advertising their new wide angle camera and how it can have better depth of field. The photos come out soft. Come to find out, the Samsung software comes preset with beauty filter from factory. I recommend checking out YouTube videos on how to set up the camera. Everything else is really good, especially the ability to add up to 512gb micro SD card which can hold about a hundred HD movies. BIXBY, Samsung's proprietary assistant like Google still needs a lot of improvement in comparison to Google and Alexa.

Nice silicone case but does not provide coverage on bottom of the phone. The speaker, plug and headphone port area is notched around, not punched out for each port. The Samsung logo looks nice too.

Great product but not for one handed use

The LED display on the cover is a great idea! I really like the functionality and idea but you can't use the phone with one hand. The cover flap when flipped over to the back is larger than the phone so your hand is grasping the cover, not the phone. I ended up returning the case for one with no flap but I miss the notification and music control function. The inner card slot is only good for one card so I would not use it because the case is very tight on tolerances and it presses up on the screen and the cover will not close completely.

Worst Screen Protector I have ever purchased

I have the Samsung S10+ so the beveled edge is an issue with traditional glass type screen protectors. The only one Best Buy carried in the store was this product. This protector screen is a clear film. I applied it based on the direction and it left scratch marks on the film using the applicator it came with in the package. The harder I tried to get the bubbles to the edges, the more scratches appeared. So I went back to the store and got another one because I had already taken the factory screen protector film off (big mistake, should have kept it as it is better than this product). This time I paid Geek Squad to install it so if it turns out bad, they will get another one and try again. So the tech who claims he did over 50 of these, still manage to not get all the bubbles out. As he installed it, the amount of force required to get the film to adhere flat was appalling. I really thought for a moment he was going to break my phone.
After the film was installed, the coverage started at the top of the phone at the speaker per the instructions but it does not extend all the way down to the bottom edge. There is an approximate .125" of gap between the phone and the film. The texture is not smooth so your finger print and smudges is unavoidable, even with clean hands. If you still have the factory screen protector, keep it on and wait for another product to come out.

Excellent value but could be better

The MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is amazing. Overall build quality is excellent and the layout of the keyboard is a really good. At first I was going to get the non-Touch Bar because a lot of reviews said it was not intuitive and just a gimmick. However, I wanted the quad core so I decided to just pay for the "gimmick bar". After using the touch bar for a week and setting up for each program I use frequently, I have been indoctrinated. It really is something you learn to use and make good use of it. I was at Bestbuy for two hours playing with the 13 and 15 inch side by side. Ultimately the 13 won me over because the screen is more crisp. I freeze frame videos and zoomed in on high res images. The 15" sounded better but that was not a deciding factor. The size for the 15" was a deal breaker because it is big. It's no longer a "laptop" at that size. If you're a gamer and need a 15-17" for screen and hardware, then that makes sense. However, the MacBook Pro is a not a gaming platform and it can't be modded therefore it's really a screen integrated desktop.
So what can be better? Apple products are expensive but you know you're getting a quality product. Where they fall behind is innovation. It does bother me that I will not be able to upgrade components so that is why I purchased the highest grade I was able to afford. At this price point, it should include other Apple capabilities such as facial recognition and ability to use Apple Pen on trackpad. Also possibility with front facing camera to record directly to iMovie.
Down side of this product is cooling. On average the MacBook runs cool. I can use it on my lap and don't feel any heat. Once I start playing Metro 2033 Redux, it gets hot, really hot! I presume it may be the same when rendering hi-res graphics because the process is tasking.
