Solid stand but flawed materials

Our family was really excited for this stand. We had been looking and watching prices for over a year, thinking many stands were way over priced for what they were. When we found this one at Best Buy and the price and length matched what we wanted (60 inches long) to accommodate wanting a larger tv, we jumped at it and went to assemble it right away. Everything was great until it was time to install the top shelf. The middle support was too short and initially wouldn’t screw into the top shelf. With a little bit of force (more than should have been necessary) I got the middle support to screw into the top. However the next larger issue was screwing the top shelf sides down. I had to rubber mallet the metal strip since it was slightly bent to hopefully get all the screws to fit. Unfortunately it helped a little since I could get 5 of the 6 screws in. However, the holes in the metal did not match up with the drilled holes of the top shelf very well. Bottom line one of the back corner screws never could fit so I only have 5 in rather than 6. It should still be more than stable enough. This isn’t a light stand but it’s not overly heavy either. Also had no directions in the box but luckily found them online.
So it is a toss up if I recommend this - if everything fits right, it’s a very nice stand. It’s more brown than grey which worked fine with our room. But the headaches we had really sucked the enthusiasm we had getting the stand in the first place. Almost packed it up to return it.

Yes, it’s not a gaming PC - but the PS5 has impressed me over the Xbox. The load times are fast, no issues at all with frame rates or graphics, and the interface was quick to learn. Astros Playroom is a fun game/tutorial for the family. Wish I could’ve bought the base system without the game and saved money but I know eventually I’d buy the God of War game. Working through the first God of War and love it. The extra $60 you spent on this version is worth the game - wished the game was on disk since I got the PS5 disk version. I also think the hard drive should’ve been a full 1 TB.

My “Go to” HDMI cable

While costly versus other HDMI cables, these make a difference even at the entry level. I have purchased the Pearl, Forest and the one above that pending on what I am connecting. They last and make for a solid enhanced connection. While in many cases the difference is slight, our family loves movies and gaming so I want a great connection. I knew buying this I wasn’t getting a heavy duty case like an Otterbox. It’s a solid basic case for your iPad. I am not a fan of the “lock” because I see this breaking within a year but for basic protection this fit my need. Don’t expect this case to take abuse. But for everyday use and some bumps or slight drops it will work fine. I don’t trust the claim of height of drop on the packaging. I got mine on sale for $30 so an inexpensive way to go for protection.

Not as good as the first

I had high hopes for this - I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie. This one is not horrible but not as enjoyable. To me, it seemed more like a love story- how Diana missed her man, wished him back and struggled with the idea of not having him in her life. This movie could have been done with a better plot. The villain was weak too - I won’t elaborate but very disappointing. Not sure how the same person directed both of these films - one was fantastic and this one is not on the same level. It’s a shame cause I like Gail Gadot as Wonder Woman.
