The LG G5 65” is a game changer for me. I’ve waited a long time to buy an OLED and this is THE one. It’s bright enough for any room and has the black level and shadow detail you need for a theater room. It can do it all. It has a wider color gamut, higher NIT’s more color saturation and the screen uniformity is unmatched. Unlike Samsung, it has Dolby Vision. You can’t beat DV for movies and Netflix. The remote is a letdown and continues to be LG’s proprietary RF style. There’s an HDR bug for gamers causing posterization and banding. it was a problem for Dolby Vision but that’s been patched. The HDR patch is supposedly coming in July. I can’t say enough about this TV for DV format viewing. Equally amazing is HD streamed content. The SDR presentation is the best I’ve see. Big step up here from my 2018 era Sony. It will be tough to leave OLED after this.

Great case. The glass enclosure made me pause at first but technical reviews put me at ease. Load the thing up with fans and especially the case-side that has room for 3 intake. The case has a vent that blows cool air right across the motherboard and graphics card. I’m exhausting out the back and top. 4k gaming at max settings on an EVGA FTW3 3080 ti and my GPU temps are maxing out at 72-77deg c. With the 3 RGB fans included the case is actually a decent value. It has all the smart Corsair icue tech on the board. I moved my front fans to the side and picked up QL fans for the front and back. The 5000D would be a good 2nd choice if you don’t mind the front grill cutouts.

An “almost perfect’ 75” LCD display
ByTomMNfromN Central MN
If you’re like me and you’ve been through a few large panel televisions, searching for that nearly perfect multipurpose roon display, SONY has hit home run with the Z9F. HDR performance is outstanding. Color out of the box is as good as I’ve ever seen. The big wins here; 1. 95% elimination of color and gray panel uniformity problems that have plagued LCD technology from the beginning and 2. Wide angle viewing without loss off brightness, contrast and color saturation. Finally an LCD at this size without distracting gray blotches, visible lines from a backlight grid or discoloration especially noticeable during ice and field sports. These issues were never much of a problem for theatrical use but as family room tv for sports, especially on panning shots, ugh. The litmus test is a hockey game. This scores a 10. Bonus points for the internal sound provided. It’s really good. Negatives? 1. Some enthusiasts will be disappointed that SONY hasn’t figured out how to entirely blacken the cinema bars. I DO NOT find it distracting personally. 2. The price. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s worth it but it’s at the edge of affordability. There are some great performing competitors out there having owned a Vizio P75 but no one has solved the uniformity problem until now. There’s a reason SONY has coined MASTER SERIES for the new Z9F 75’ & 65” displays.

I wrote this review early September having received my 75” Z9F on 9/7 ( not knowing at the time that the broad release of the 75” Z9F would be held up until mid November). I’ve had this display for 10 weeks now and continue to be impressed by it’s pictuire quality in light and dark rooms. Top quality UHD/HDR10/DolbyVision content is a joy to watch and the gamut accuracy (even without professional calibration) is simply outstanding. It gets knocked by the old-schoolers who can’t accept that native contrast measurements simply don’t matter that much with a sophisticated local dimming display. Sony has some tricks up it’s sleeve with the X1 processor. Sony has produced a more refined VA panel in a previous generation tv but that particular display did not have the nits, guaranteed clean panel or wide viewing angle. By all means, get one of those if you don’t care about these 3 things. If you’re looking for a versatile, multipurpose room display without the fear of panel logevity you get with OLED... the Z9F won’t let you down.

Insulting to previous Collectors
ByJamesonP
I've been buying Marvel steelbooks from Best Buy since the original's release in 2012. Even as the prices climbed and the supply got even more limited I continued. When Avengers: Infinity War came out I was a tad annoyed that they changed up the artwork from the previous two Avengers steelbooks. But I think it is truly infuriating that now that Endgame is out they released this boxset with consistent artwork. It feels like a cheap way to wring more money out of a loyal group of fans. I really wish they hadn't done this as it makes me less inclined to even purchase the 4K steelbooks of the Iron Man trilogy and previous MCU films.
