I want to give this a higher score, because the movie is so iconic, but if you have seen it, you know the drill here, it is one of the slowest openings to a movie ever...it drags on and on. If you are patient, you will be rewarded with an iconic, fantastic movie.
The video quality of the 4k transfer is amazing. I am talking reference quality level video here folks. The attention to detail when doing this transfer takes away all excuses from other teams that seem to lack the ability to take an older movie (1968) and achieve this level of mastery.
Inky blacks abound, with insanely minimal picture noise, while the video is razor sharp. This is why I got the 4k version! Color quality is astounding and brilliant.
Seriously folks, the video quality has to be seen to appreciate what I am merely stating in this review.
The audio is great, but if you know the movie, you know that audio was used sparingly throughout much of the film in order to create a sense of isolation. When the audio comes through, it is of very high quality, albeit taking a back seat to the superb video.

You know what you are getting here and you either love it or hate it, so I'm not going to rehash the story other than to say it starts slow, but after some time it really gets going so stick with it if you are a new viewer.
This is the part most people want to know, so here it is. The 4k transfer is very good, but not as great as some of the experts claim it to be. You get a highly detailed movie with great color depth and contrast.
There is a fair amount of noise and film grain present that ranges from moderate to slightly higher depending on the scene. Dark scenes display the greatest amount of noise as usual.
Could the image quality be better? Yes, I think so, but there are always tradeoffs during the transfer process. Incorporate techniques to remove noise and the images get softer, so all-in-all I am glade they did not incorporate high levels of digital noise reduction. I mean, if your buying the 4k version, you want it to look sharp, not soft, and they achieved that, however, I think it could have been better.
The picture noise isn't Terminator 2 level, but it is a bit higher than I would like. When sitting at proper distances from the television, it doesn't overwhelm you.

I purchased this unit for my brother, after having already purchased a larger 6 quart unit of the same model.
I would always buy a unit a bit larger than you think you would need because once you see all of the uses for the air fryer, you will be disappointed if you didn't get a unit large enough to accommodate your needs. Anything lower than 4qt is too small in my opinion. This is the perfect size when preparing food for 2 people.
You can find recipes all over the internet. Start with easy things and work your way up.
Going to use our larger unit for Cornish game hens this week.

If you are expecting Jeopardy to play as exactly as it does on tv, you may be disappointed, as it does not feature the voice of the late Alex Trebek. That being stated, Jeopardy is quite fun to play, albeit on the easy side.
As a family we found that Wheel of Fortune was actually the better game which offered a very entertaining experience.
If you want to have a game night with the family, but do not want to deal with the clutter of actual cardboard games, this is a good place to start.

So this is a bit harder to review than most videogames. There is a learning curve to get past if you want to truly make your own masterpieces, however, you can use templates if you want to go the simpler albeit more generic route.
I bought this for my daughter so she and I could write and create our own adventure for other family members to play. The amount of options make creating your own RPG almost limitless.
I highly recommend that you use Youtube and other online resources to aid you in your quest to make the perfect RPG. There is a lot to take in here. Don't expect to just pick this up and be on your way to game creation in minutes, or you will be disappointed.
For those who are willing to learn the system in place, this is a great way to learn about game creation, and for those who simply want to play the works of others, there is an immense of entertainment to be had here.
My ratings are for both the potential of the product and the ability to pick up and play great titles that have already been created by others.
I would not get this for kids under the age of 13 unless you are willing to sit down and be part of the creation process with your child. If you are willing to do so, this is a great way to inspire creative young minds to engineer their own stories.

Fantastic collection for any Back to the Future fan.
I already had this collection on blu-ray, but being a fan of the series, I just had to get them in 4k, and I am glad I did. The 4k transfer beats its standard blu-ray counterpart in every way. Better color, clarity, and contrast abound.
This is a perfect example of how to remaster older movies for 4k televisions.

Very little grain in the transfer to 4k and thankfully the picture is still sharp and hasn't had an over use of digital noise reduction ala Terminator 2.
The only downside of the wonderfully sharp presentation is that it does tend to show the flaws in the mechanical shark used to make the movie.
The amount of bonus material is staggering while being a welcome and interesting addition.
