The so called "on button", is not really a button. It is a
contact point. The light turns on when it and part of the
metallic housing are touched simultaneously. Your body
completes the circuit, and the light comes on. When the
circuit is broken, the light goes out, but only after several
seconds.

I’ve never owned a Samsung tablet but I’m glad I purchased this one. I bought it as a replacement for a 10 year old HD Nook and this is a fabulous replacement. Light weight, slim, yet very solid. I am connecting to it with a Samsung Tab S6 Lite, using the Smart View utility in the tablet. I am watching movies from VUDU, and YouTube videos with no problem. I did have to enable HDCP in the adapter to watch the copyrighted material from VUDU - and this is done using the Microsoft Display Adapter app, that only runs on Windows.

It's been many years since i've purchased a computer. I really like the size and weight of this one. The only thing I don't like is that I can't install Chrome. It seems they only want me to use Bing. The other thing is that there is no Excel without paying extra and I don't want to pay for just one spreadsheet. I have Office on a cd but there is no cd slot. Other than that, I really like it so far, much faster than my old computer and has touch screen. It was one of the least expensive ones that I could find. It's worth the price I paid. I'll just have to find someone who knows what they are doing to help me around the issues of getting Chrome and using the one spreadsheet I need. Overall good purchase.

You would be able to install those applications after disabling S mode, which comes enabled on this laptop. Disabling S mode can be done in just a couple of minutes. However, once done it can not be reenabled.

Is the aspect ratio of the display 16:10?
Using the Windows 11 app Settings, I verified the display resolution is 2560X1600 which gives an aspect ratio of 16:10. By the way, the display is excellent.
