I am connecting to it with a Samsung Tab S6 Lite, using the Smart View utility in the tablet. I am watching movies from VUDU, and YouTube videos with no problem. I did have to enable HDCP in the adapter to watch the copyrighted material from VUDU - and this is done using the Microsoft Display Adapter app, that only runs on Windows.

It's been many years since i've purchased a computer. I really like the size and weight of this one. The only thing I don't like is that I can't install Chrome. It seems they only want me to use Bing. The other thing is that there is no Excel without paying extra and I don't want to pay for just one spreadsheet. I have Office on a cd but there is no cd slot. Other than that, I really like it so far, much faster than my old computer and has touch screen. It was one of the least expensive ones that I could find. It's worth the price I paid. I'll just have to find someone who knows what they are doing to help me around the issues of getting Chrome and using the one spreadsheet I need. Overall good purchase.

I was not happy with the operating system not allowing me to use after market applications I haved for years, especially after the salesman said I could when I questioned him about it. Other than that it works fine

You would be able to install those applications after disabling S mode, which comes enabled on this laptop. Disabling S mode can be done in just a couple of minutes. However, once done it can not be reenabled.

I think it is too slow for that purpose. It has a speed of only about 130 MB/s.
