Action Packed Nonstop Excitement

Heat is still an absolute masterpiece, it is the perfect character driven crime drama. Michael Mann pits Al Pacino and Robert De Niro as a dueling cop and crook whose lives bear stunning resemblances to themselves. "Heat" abounds with fantastic action scenes, culminating in a bank heist and shootout between Neil McCauley's gang of bank robbers and Vincent Hanna's squad of police detectives. In the immediate aftermath of the heist are found the best action sequences in the entire film. I think they rank among the best action scenes in any movie of recent years. The battle between McCauley’s automatic weapons-wielding crew and dozens of Hanna’s equally well-armed police officers, fought over several city blocks, takes on the grim, fiery reality of urban combat. This scene is grand in its scope, perfectly executed, and positively gripping to watch.

The Sandlot is one of the top movies of my childhood along with The Goonies. Now as a parent I have passed my love of The Sandlot on to my own children. It works as well today as it did back in 1993. Our family loves watching The Sandlot over and over again.

Beethoven movies are so fun for families to watch together. In my opinion the original Beethoven is the best of the three, but my kids love the 2nd and 3rd films. I have always enjoyed these movies as a kid, so I love being able to enjoy them again with my kids.

I've been a Tarzan fan since age 7, The Legend of Tarzan did not disappoint me. From the opening music until the last scene, I was thrilled. I appreciated the fact that Tarzan's origin was explained in well-timed flashbacks versus dominating the main story line. I really liked seeing more of a final version of Tarzan's character, then loved seeing how he returns to his old life, embracing his wild nature to save Jane and the congo.

I actually enjoyed this movie. I had low expectations but found it to be a pretty fun movie with some refreshing takes on the standard themes of "good vs bad" It's not as fun as some of the Marvel movies have been but it stood in its own right. Will Smith's performance stood out.

The movie kept me belly laughing and all the characters "actors" did a great job using their voices to their utmost potential in this film. There are some jokes in the movie that only adults will get but nothing crude so it is suitable for the whole family. The 3D was awesome too!
