There should not be any vocals coming from a subwoofer. Your frequency is set to high.

can barely handle 600 watts and then you start to smell the coil smoking. The cone travel is probably under 7mm max. The old SoloBaric from 20 years ago had double that. No deep bass. Just sounds like someone hitting on a big wooden box with a sledge hammer. If any of you think this is SQ then youre dead wrong. I had the Old Kicker subs back in the 90;s These new ones aint nothing like that. Seems they traded SQ for quick prefab all ready made convience. Ill return it and get somethign else. I am greatful I can at least return it.

How can you compare a CompR to an L7. There are like five different types of L7. CompR is like second from lowest. L7 start at a minimum of 750 watts and the CompR is a maximum of 500 watts.

Supposed to be a 1000 watts
I have a 1200 watt amp that I have to keep the gain all the way down without blowing it. Went through 3 already

This is not a 1000 watt subwoofer. It clearly states 500 watts RMS. Never ever use the peak watts of a speaker, subwoofer and amplifier. Always use RMS.

I've owned plenty of Kicker products including several L7 and L5 Solobaric subs. This was my frist time buying a Kicker Comp sub and I will NEVER buy another one. I paired this up with the Kicker CXA600.1 amplifer, which was supposed to be a perfect match and the subwoofer blew in less than a week. There is no way this thing is capable of handling 600w RMS. It's more like 200-300w RMS. I only had the amp turned up halfway. Don't waste your time with this sub. It's garbage.

Are you sure you bought the right subwoofer. You state the Comp which is only rated at 300 watts. The CompR is rated at 500 watts.

How in the world are you powering four speakers, tweeters and subwoofers with an monoblock amplifier. That is impossible you would be at negative numbers on your final ohm load.

THIS THING IS HUGE. Be sure to have a spot dedicated for it. Makes great sound but takes a few days to break in and get setup properly. Neccessary to complete any RP 5.1+ setup.

Amp has a shut off when it gets hot. Pushing a 10inch tube, 2 6x9 , 2 5x4, 2 4x 6. Might as well get the big amplifier this one will cut out when you try to turn it up.

Are you really pushing 6 speakers and a subwoofer with this amp? No wonder the amplifier can't handle it. I'm surprised you haven't burned up the amplifier and your car yet.

How do you expect a four channel amplifier to run six speakers and a subwoofer? No wonder your amplifier is running hot and shutting off. There's no way it is supposed to run in that configuration. Then you still have the audacity to rate three stars like it's the amplifiers fault. Unbelievable.

Do you think these speakers would sound better than the Bose speakers I have in my car now? The Bose speakers are in a 2001 Nissan Maxima. They still sound good but they are old. Thanks
That depends. Since your car has a Bose system it might be amplified. If it is you're going to have to check that the system is 4 ohms. A lot of times factory premium systems run at 2 ohms. If you connect 4 ohm speakers like these the system will sound half as loud. Hope that helps.

I want to use this amp to power my subs and other speakers in my car. Then use a Bluetooth box to link with my phone and eliminate the cd radio player can I do that ? Does it have enough channels
No you can't use this amplifier for that purpose. What you are looking for is a five channel amplifier. You can also find amplifiers with bluetooth built in but they are still very rare. Kenwood Exelon X801-5 or the newer model X802-5 both have 50 watts x 4 channels, plus 500 watts for your subwoofer. Pioneer GM-D9605 or the newer model GM-D9705 have 75 watts x 4 channels, plus 600 watts for your subwoofer. Hope this helps.
