Dryer install poor

Removed old dryer, installed new dryer. Left with dryer not level. Dryer not performing properly after initial install, suspected exhaust duct issue as lint and dust were flying all around the laundry room. called in a dryer duct expert who found the duct disconnected from dryer, so I assume it was not connected properly, because this was only 3 days after initial installation.

Total tech protection plan saved money

Purchased total tech protection at the advice of salesperson when purchasing washer and dryer. Initially thought he might be up selling for more profit. When he pointed out the advantages it made sense, as you save on installation, removal of old washer dryer and added warranty. What I did not realize when I purchased that I also received extended period of price guarantee.. the washer dryer at time of purchase, were on sale and the best price locally or nationally, plus Best Buy was one of the few vendors who had this new product in stock. Three weeks later as local inventory improved the products went on sale at even a better price if bundled. No bundle discount with initial purchase. Well BB price guarantee is 15 days but 60 days with total protection. As it turned out I saved an additional $200 so paid for my total protection. Plus there are so many other benefits not related to washer dryer. Very happy I purchased Total protection.

High Tech, beautiful matching dryer

Please see my review of WM5500hva washer. This is the matching dryer. Quite a bit of research to understand the washers, the matching dryer was a no brained after washer selection. Dryer also packed with features, controls easy to use and understand. Features such as receiving info from the washer regarding weight and type of material in the wash so the dryer calculates what temp and how long to dry, even includes a sensor if your exhaust vent is plugged up which can cause major issues if not detected. My wife says the loads are drying “was faster”. We love this washer and dryer combo and would recommend to friends and family.

Wow, latest technology and clean clothes. 20 yr old dryer stopped working, work horse washer still going, instead of looking into repair, it was time for a new washer dryer.
As I’m not the primary user of these appliances, I didn’t even know what to look for. Since our past machines worked so long reliability was a major factor. LG seemed to be a top brand in popularity and reliability. So many option and features were overwhelming, but on the lg website measuring first was an important fact I initially didn’t consider. We had side to side set up and depth was limited to 27” so we were locked into 4.5 cu ft washer. Looking at the lg options the WM5500hva has a beautiful modern appearance, simple to understand controls that provide all the feedback for what is happening during the wash, plus the app informs you of when the wash is done, when to clean the drum with instructions and many other features. It has all the top features LG offers except auto detergent dispenser. We especially like the fact that the AI assesses what’s in the wash and chooses the correct setting depending on size of load and type of fabrics. Then it provides the info to the dryer so the proper drying cycle is chosen. My wife says the cycles are much faster and the clothes are coming out cleaner. This washer is amazing and fun. We can add or remove different washer cycles customized to our specific needs. I’m a bit of a techie so was fun to program Beethoven’s 9th symphony to signal end of wash. Extremely pleased with our purchase: washer, matching dryer, two stands and installation parts, Best Buy total protection saves on install, removal, and provides extra warranty. Overall an expensive but excellent purchase and hopefully will perform another 20 years. Very pleased and would recommend the product if it fits and you want the latest technology from a reputable reliable company.
