New to 4K. This collection features the wonder of the entire Star Wars saga, capturing the moments from a young Anakin Skywalker's descent into the dark side to the rise of the Resistance and their struggle to restore peace in the galaxy. The story that electrified a generation comes to a striking conclusion.

So far I’ve watched Episodes 1, 4, 5, 6, 9. It’ll take a while to get through the remaining disks.
They did a really nice job with the 4K UHD versions! I was particularly impressed with episodes 4-6 which I though might not be so good given they were filmed much earlier. But they look great on a good 4K UHD TV!
Why 4/5 stars? I’ve had one disk with a playback glitch. It’s difficult to get the disks out of the cardboard holders without getting finger prints all over the disks. Need to use a separate cloth.

A lot of these film to 4K conversion movies have significant noise artifacts which I find distracting. However this movie is very well done. There is small amount of noise through the entire movie but it was at low enough levels that it was not distracting. There are only a couple of short scenes where this sun is directly being imaged by the lens that looked really poor. (Hence the 4 stars instead of 5). A friend didn’t even notice until I pointed it out.
This is a great 4K HDR version of a classic. I highly recommend it.

This is a very well done 4K HDR movie. If you’re okay with the level of violence in this movie (and the original) then you will really enjoy the visual presentation (particularly on LG OLED C8 class TV - which I watched it on).

At the same time, Neo searches for a mysterious InchKeymakerInch who can help him unlock the way to destroying the Matrix, while he battles upgraded cyberfoe Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving). A few conversions (of my favorite movies) to 4K have been very disappointing. However the Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded are both superbly done. If you like the movies and have a good 4K set up then you will not be disappointed with the repurchase of these movies in the new format.
