Definitely recommend this gen over the last, button feel is a lot better and dont feel as clunky especially for the top bumpers. There is also wireless bluetooth support so you don't need a wireless dongle if you got bluetooth on your PC and connects fairly flawlessly but might need a youtube vid for help.
My review misses a star just cuz i'm noticing the top bumpers feel maybe too flimsy with how much I can move them around with just my finger, and years later there is still no built in rechargeable battery

Can you change the color of the lights inside the panel?
I own this PC and yes you have a program preinstalled in the computer that's the HP Omen command center and you have a pretty wide range of options to play with in colors and how they react either with music, PC temperature, or just cycling through the different colors or if you prefer just a constant lighting preference. The inside of the case has lighting and the logo on the front of the case also lights up and changes colors too.
