As someone who has used both Hue and LIFX. I have to say that LIFX wins in my opinion. I like that you connect directly to the bulbs using WiFi and does not require a bridge like the Hue. They also retain their last color, which is helpful because I often turn off the lights at the switch. I am very pleased with these bulbs, and have been using the LIFX ecosystem for many years.

If you need the directional arrows, the R7 is the upgraded version of this one, but is too large in my opinion. The size of this one is just right, and updates are free as well!

I unboxed the TV and began the setup process. After setup was complete, it said that it needed to update the firmware and reboot, but it never came back on. I took it back to the store, and the Geek Squad agent was also not able to get it to come on.
