Another Pretty Good Eminem Album

Maybe it's because I'm not that big a fan of hip hop, but this guy's albums always seem OK to me. There's one or two really good songs, a couple of pretty good songs, and then the rest are kind of boring. Same as usual here. If you're not a fan of hip hop I recommend this album and the greatest hits one for Eminem.

Less Jam, More Pop

So the Allman Brothers Band were known for helping to accidentally invent "Southern Rock" and for mega-jamming during their concerts. These songs are more bluesy, less jammy, and maybe even poppy for lack of a better term. All great music for sure, but if you just want the highlights of this man's long and varied career with a focus on his solo output, you could do worse than this collection. Check it out.

What can I say, they're not Bad Religion or Hatebreed, but for what I'm guessing is their first or so album they have a good sound, decent chops, and no weak spots in their songs. I will be glad to listen to this CD every so often over the years, and that's the sign of superior music. Check them out.

Better Than I Thought They'd Be

I am a huge music fan and collector of CD's. I prefer the heavy and don't trust the popular. As such I was suspicious of these guys since they seemed like a RATM rip off. However, I finally bought a CD by them and I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe they could have rocked a little harder here and there, but overall I dig this CD. In my opinion if you like rock you should check them out.
